Junior role

This unique opening with a financial giant brings together both Technical and Analytical skillsets to provide expert support to a large credit risk analytics team.

Through natural growth and ongoing projects, multiple junior roles have been created to cope with the demand of the analytics environment.  Not many of these types of positions come on the market that both bring ????? ????? database management backgrounds and an appreciation of Credit Risk principles.

Your daily duties will include: 

• Identify through analysis issues and opportunities relating to performance of decision support systems, policies and strategies highlighting trends and other variations so that appropriate action can be taken by product risk areas.
• Review business requirements and functional specifications to prepare testing products and conduct system tests in accordance with standards and procedures to support business strategies and system development.
• Decision Support Systems: Participate in the daily operation and upkeep of decision support systems utilised or supported by the department.
• Participate in validating data, preparing ????? ?????, preparing ????? ????? executing testing, implementation and documentation.
• Adhoc analysis - attending to individual requests for information and/or assistance. Participating in discussions with stakeholders re: changes to risk policies in decision support systems.

Skill required:

• Tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Statistics or IT;
• Technical orientation - SAS, Access & Excel essential;
• 1-2 years experience would be a plus;
• Good communication and quick learner.
