Financial Planning - Senior Quality Advice Consultant

  • A great opportunity has become available to provide support and 'quality advice tools' to the planner network of this leading financial institution.

    The main focus of the role will be the provision of high quality advice tools and technical solutions to support financial planners in line with industry and professional standards.

    Major Focus Areas:

    • Lead and deliver on quality advice initiatives and objectives of the business
    • Coordinate and deliver quality and timely advice and technical tools and support to meet planner requirements
    • Develop and coordinate communications with planners and advice specialists
    • Monitor and identify changes in legislation and regulatory requirements that affect advice tools and processes
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in order to deliver quality advice solutions to planners and regional offices
    • Contribute to the process of continual improvement in the quality of technical material provided to stakeholders
    • Contribute to the delivery of quality advice, approved software and technical education programs
    • Respond to planner enquiries.
    • Provide direction and assistance to junior advice consultants to support their development
    Knowledge & Skills:
    • Advanced Diploma in Financial Services or equivalent essential
    • Sound knowledge of financial planning industry, particularly in relation to technical matters and their practical application to clients
    • Proven project management skills
    • Strong experience with development of advice tools and use of Financial Planning software
    • Proven high level communication and relationship management skills with a broad range of stakeholders
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
