Are you an experienced Compliance Manager with a track record in Group Compliance within the Financial Services Industry? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you.
Work for a respected organisation to ensure they are operating within regulatory requirements, by providing the group with expert and advisory services through monitoring and reporting. You will be supporting and upskilling the business in relation to legal and regulatory compliance.
This is a project based role to set up a robust framework – legislative requirements for the group and we expect the role will last until July 2010.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Writing policy and procedures
· Identifying and investigating high risk areas of compliance
· Preparing and presenting information to the business to ensure the utmost highest level of compliance
· Delivering compliance training to the business
· Internal audit and self assessment and reporting breaches to the board
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have experience building compliance programmes as a proven successful business partner; consulting with the business to interpret their needs. You will have sound influencing skills and the ability to pick up law/corps act, interpret and get across to the business in layman’s terms.
You will have a thorough understanding of the Managed Investments Act, so that you are able to how the laws impact on products and how the group has to comply.
