Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to cover a 12 month sabbatical. The role will sit within the Retention Strategy and Execution team, and will be responsible for co-ordinating and assisting in the management and delivery of strategic and tactical customer retention initiatives. The Retention Strategy and Execution Team operates across the different lines of the business, including wealth management, general insurance and life insurance. This role will also have involvement in analysing new opportunities, defining, creating and updating relevant processes and procedures and supporting the delivery of new enhancements to the Retention team's technology applications.

The successful applicant will have proven project experience preferably gained from a business project environment in addition to the following essential requirements:

Minimum of 5 years Financial Services Industry experience
Current RG 146 accreditation
Relevant Tertiary qualification with strong academic results
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
Highly developed planning and organisation skills, a high level of attention to detail
High level of initiative, drive and demonstrate openness to encourage different points of view
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
Demonstrated record as a strong and proactive team player
Strong performance orientation, high levels of tenacity, resilience, work ethic and initiative
Relevant Risk/Compliance or Legal experience
Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular) skills required
