Rare opportunity to join a policy team working on one of largest soon to be high profile projects in Australia

Responsibilities:
Identifying and resolving key policy issues in creative ways, through collaboration with management and external stakeholders
Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of a consistent national legislative framework
Working within packages and project team to deliver policy services that support timely implementation
Taking responsibility for a defined area, including identifying policy issues then resolving them or escalating to the Head of Policy
Providing policy advice to senior executive and stakeholders on arising issues
Researching and sourcing of policy information to ensure the Policy team and package/project adopts best practice methods for policy development
Planning and preparing ????? ????? relevant stakeholders on operational policy and product specifications.

Requirements:
Ability to think strategically, integrating a 'big picture' view of goals with how to achieve them, envisaging what might be and how future possibilities balance with the 'here and now'
Exceptional conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrated in the resolution of complex strategic issues in a challenging environment
Very strong written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to apply creativity and innovation to identify options to resolve complex issues
Excellent written skills and experience in preparing ????? ?????, clear and concise reports and briefing papers
Maturity and confidence with sound judgement
The ability and willingness to act
Qualifications at a post-graduate level would generally be expected, however are not essential
Please NOTE candidates are NOT required to have previous policy experience, candidates may alsom come from a Business Analyst background
