The Role

$200mil+ Commercial/Wholesale & Institutional Banking Lending Portfolio Risk across the ANZ and internationally - some travel. Strategic level role with the opportunity to sit across the table from the Big Guns that seal the deals and talk about - RISK.
Day to Day

• Assess quality and develop appropriate review plans, credit management of those exposures (decisioning, risk grading, approval conditioning and periodic review)
• Make your view point count by identifying and reporting all significant portfolio and credit risk management issues and making suitable recommendations on actions required to rectify
• Develop effective relationships with Senior Business and Credit Management 
• Provide coaching on credit risk management issues and to assist line management to develop and maintain effective controls over credit processes

The Candidate

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or financial management
• Commercial credit risk experience within banking from small or large financial institution - $200mil+
• Credit Risk Review or Assurance (decision, risk grading, approval conditioning and periodic review) experience and ability to deliver this in reporting
• Ideal candidate are currently holding a Chief Credit Officer role or other senior credit portfolio risk role looking to join a bank that is going places; previous career paths may have also partnered with senior lending experience/relationship management/origination/securitisation
