Electrical Drafter - National & International Power Projects

The local subsidiary is one of Australia's leading professional consulting firms providing design solutions in power transmission and distribution utility markets.
Due to an increased workload, there is an immediate opportunity in Sydney for an electrical drafter with experience in power transmission and distribution, (primary or secondary systems) and protection electrical design drafting.
The types of projects you can expect to be working on include major substation rebuilds and refurbishments, substation augmentations (additions of transformers, CBs, cap banks, reactors etc), underground and overhead cable diversions, secondary systems refurbishments and substation SCADA system extensions and replacements.
Skills:
- You will have developed CAD skills and be competent in Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
- You will hold an appropriate electrical qualification and be knowledgeable with HV transmission & distribution electrical drafting standards.
- Previous experience in a transmission or distribution design projects
- You must be currently working for a recognised consultancy in Australia. Overseas applications are not accepted at this time
