Project Manager (Housing)

 

A Leading International Service Provider

North Sydney Based (some mobile)

$50 - $55 + super per hour, 6 Month + Contract

This leading international service provider wishes to appoint 3 senior project managers for the delivery of major capital project works, infrastructure and associated programmes associated with a large government housing contract.

The successful candidates will have specialised project management(design and construction management), consultant engagement, project programming and contractual skills to ensure that these projects are delivered on time, budget and to plan.

To deliver these projects you will have continuous and productive engagement with the government dept, external consultants, stake holders and the Capital Works Team.

You must have demonstrated communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and clients, the ability to provide written and oral reports/briefings and to write and interpret contracts and specifications.

This is a senior Client Side project management role, reporting to the head of Capital Works based at the head office but may involve travel around the sydney metro area.

You will be trade or tertiary qualified in engineering, building or an associated field and have at least 10 years solid project management experience, ideally within NSW. Experience with Housing would be beneficial.

This is a 6 month + contract role paying $50-55 + super per hour with long-term opportunities and is only open to candidates with full working rights in Australia.
