Maintenance Manager - Civil

Our NT based client is currently looking for someone to manage the operation and maintenance of the Alice Springs road network and other civil assets, on behalf of clients, to achieve cost effective results.
Role Responsibilities:
To contribute to the success of the Agency through the provision of civil asset management services in accordance with approved programs and to the satisfaction of clients.
Undertake the roles of Project Officer on specific projects and Superintendent's Representative Nominee in the administration of contracts, to ensure departmental policies, procedures and Northern Territory Government legislation and construction standards are maintained.
Manage civil maintenance teams to deliver client works programs.
Provide quality financial and progress reporting.
Liaise with public, utility authorities and government agencies to achieve the best civil asset management outcomes for both the public and clients.
Contribute to the success of the business and be accountable for service delivery costs.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in civil asset management.
Substantial experience in the maintenance of civil works.
Polished communication and problem solving skills.
Proven I.T skills.
A successful track record in managing a team to achieve objectives.
An NT class C driver's license or interstate equivalent.
Experience in contract management and an approved qualification in a field of
Technical work which is related would be highly desirable.
