My client a leading international consultancy has an immediate requirement for Electrification Engineers at Principle & Junior levels for their Melbourne office, working within a friendly, dedicated team, you will be involved in all facets of OHW design layouts, switching arrangements & conceptual design.
You will provide technical / design expertise into projects along with project management for a wide range of commissions, delivering projects to budget, time and quality. Typically, projects may include strategic planning studies, feasibility studies, concept and detailed design projects, maintenance plans/reviews and operational studies.
The correct candidate for the Principle role will have 15yrs relevant experience in the Australian Market Place and a proven track record. Membership of a relevant Engineering Institution or other professional body would be highly regarded, while you will ideally have a wide knowledge of rail systems and the rail industry, and good marketing/business development skills. Excellent client relationship and team-working skills are essential for this role.
The correct candidate for the junior role will have 5 years experience and a recognised tertiary qualification, you must also have strong CAD skills, preferably with Microstation & experience of 1500V DC and 25 kV AC OHW design.
