Kinetic Engineering ????? ????? a Leading Supplier of recruitment solutions to the Rail & Power Sectors in Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with High Voltage and switchgear experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Project Director you will contribute to the provision of professional engineering ????? ????? the project team regarding the status of key projects. The role will be both office & site based involving the commissioning of substations for major energy providers. You will be required to offer technical hands-on expertise as well as provide some interface with key clients. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with preliminary investigations.
• Contribute to design, schedules and costs of specifications for projects as assigned. 
• Contribute to conceptual and technical advice and assessment of existing systems and equipment.
• Ensure relevant Engineering ????? ?????, codes and regulations are implemented. These will include Australian, European and Departmental standards.
• Contribute to the development of technical standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare technical and management reports.

ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Degree Qualified Professional Electrical (Power) Engineer 
• A Membership (or eligibility to become a member) of the Institution of Engineers Australia -
• Experience in High Voltage power design and/or construction 
• Experience in undertaking technical investigations, identifying problems and making sound professional judgements on complex issues and preparing ????? ????? recommendations and appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with people at all levels and to deal with situations requiring ????? ?????, negotiation and conflict resolution.

This is to be offered as an immediate contract position with the opportunity to work interstate and earn $$$. The role will also become permanent after an initial 3 month period.
