Due to a high demand for experienced systems engineers I am currently recruiting for various Systems Engineers to work on strategic projects for SMEs and Multi-Nationals in many of the state capitals in Australia.

In these roles you will be responsible for requirements engineering, architecture definition and high level design of the hardware and the software systems/ products being developed, maintained and supported.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Undertake system analysis and system design activities, and produce requirements and specifications for systems/ products.  This work may involve functionality or design recovery for the existing systems/ products.
• Experience of Train Control Systems
• Delivery of the enabling products in system development and maintenance via the systems engineering ????? ?????, supporting tools and infrastructure.
• Possess RAM characteristics including (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) for all railway system assets
• Review of hardware and software lifecycle during ????? ????? conduct of system integration tests.
• Monitor performance of, and investigate failures in hardware, software and communication systems/ products.  Perform analysis of impact for typical change requests. Implement routine fixes and enhancements.
• Estimation, planning, development and delivery of systems engineering ????? ?????, according to the budget and to the required quality and safety integrity levels.
• Undertaking work package definition, scope control, technical risk management, lifecycle tailoring ????? ?????-off decisions to deliver lifecycle-balanced solutions to customers.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Degree in Systems / Software/ Electronics / Communication Engineering ????? ?????.
• Possess DOORS or CORE and "below the line" experience
• Experience in high integrity systems engineering, preferably in real-time and/or embedded environments.
• Knowledge of having applied systems engineering ????? ????? one or more mission critical, software intensive application domains.
• Thorough understanding of systems engineering ????? ????? engineering ????? ????? and configuration management processes.
