As a partner with some of the largest Rail projects in Australia, we currently have a position available for a Rail Systems Engineer, to be based in Melbourne. Our client is an international high-technology systems integrator with an expanding foot print in the Australian Market. You will be part of a large team working on cutting edge Rail Systems that will change the face of the Rail industry through improved safety & operational efficiencies.

Duties Include:

• Undertake system analysis and system design activities, and defining requirements and specifications for systems/products
• Conceptual designs, requirement capture, system definition and design
• Simulation & emulation of highly complex large-scale systems
• You will act as a key focal point for requirement definition and clarification for cross functional implementation teams
• System design to meet complex system requirements
• System verification & validation procedures.

Skills & Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical / Electronic or Systems Engineering ????? ????? disciplines
• Proven experience in systems engineering ????? ????? signalling
• Experience in control / communication or Rail Signalling systems
• Understanding / background of software engineering
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering ????? ????? conceptual design, systems definition & design, requirements capture & analysis.
• Experience in high integrity systems engineering
