My client requires the services of an experienced board level RF design engineer to join their Engineering ????? ????? Sydney. Working in conjunction with their chip design and software teams in Sydney, and their field applications and product development groups in US, the candidate will be responsible for:
· Design of prototypes and test jigs to support our ASIC developments.
· Design and debug of product reference designs for our ASIC products.
· EMI and EMC pre-compliance testing.
· Debug of external customer hardware designs.
Essential requirements for this position include:
· Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering ????? ????? least 5 years experience in board level RF system design.
· Proficiency in PCB design using Altium CAD tools.
· Experience with all aspects of small run prototype development including BOM sourcing, interfacing with PCB manufacturers, and organizing PCB assembly.
· Experience with RF board level testing and debugging.
· Previous experience with WLAN or other 2.4GHz product development would be highly regarded.
