Our client is an Employer of Choice who have an extensive commercial and retail portfolio nationally.

A newly created position has become available for a Building Services Engineer, who will be responsible for managing the daily service delivery of engineering services and minor works / upgrades projects. The position will also be responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures as well as monitoring the ongoing maintenance plans and asset life cycle tracking.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Assisting in the implementation of the maintenance strategy
* Provision of engineering support to the relevant teams and internal clients
* Project delivery to agreed budget, schedule and specifications
* Risk management
* Formulation for capital upgrade programmes and maintenance budgets
* Undertaking site inspections to assess asset condition and check compliance to the appropriate standards

In order to be considered for the position, candidates will need to demonstrate:

* Experience in the management of building services and maintenance systems across diverse property portfolios
* Capability in analysing technical engineering and building services systems
* First class negotiation, communication and influencing skills
* Mechanical or electrical qualifications and a working knowledge of Australian Standards and BCA etc.

Salary $80K-$100K + super + up to 10% bonus earning potential.
