6 Hour shifts - Natural Learning Environment

This is truly a job with a difference.  Based on the Steiner education philosophy, this centre believes in natural childhood development, fostering ????? ?????, creativity and natural curiosity in children.  The aim is to empower childrens learning through natural methods

 

The programs are run for 2-3 and 3-6 year olds where healthy vegetarian meals are given and a no shouting policy is adopted.

 

Candidates for this position should expect to have autonomy and make this role their own.  This centre has been in operation for 11 years with high accreditation scores and a director who is supportive, passionate, professional and knowledgeable in her field and others, having worked as a primary school teacher in mainstream schools and childcare centers.

 

This centre closes for 4 weeks over Christmas and you would work on a rotating shift between the hours of 9.30 and 5.30.

 

This role would suit a mature open minded candidate, possibly with their own children who are open to alternative, creative methods of teaching.
