Our client is a high quality council sponsored centre situated in Lane Cove. The centre is licensed for 60 children and operates between the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm. At the present, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Certificate 3 Qualified to step into the 0-2's room. The room consists of 16 children with 4 staff in total providing support and assistance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Certificate 3 Child Care Worker to join a reputable centre that prides itself on providing quality care within childcare. The individual will need to demonstrate leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. Knowledge on programming for the 0-2's and experience working with the desired age group is essential. Competency in using computer software will also be an advantage
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, knowledge of the Emergent Curriculum and a minimum of 6 months experience working with the 0-2 age group. The individual must have completed a Certificate 3 in Children's Services and a Current First Aid Certificate to be eligible for this position.
