This is an opportunity to play a key role in a specialist contracting team within Navy, striving for commercial excellence in out-sourcing support services, preparing ????? ????? and managing complex procurements across Australia.
 
Package: Salary $65,520 - $74,846, plus a range of benefits including superannuation, excellent training, flexible working hours, and access to a gymnasium.
 
A strong commercial awareness is essential. Additionally, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and to motivate. You will have the ability to provide team leadership and the co-ordination of specialist input when this is required. You may have gained these attributes whilst working in an environment that has given you a broad understanding of procurement practices, finance, contract law or project management.
 
In these roles, you will take responsibility for, or contribute to a wide variety of tasks, including:
  • Overall project management of out-sourcing and contract bids
  • Business case development - including costing and finance
  • Advice on differing ????? ????? financing approaches
  • Preparing ????? ????? Tender documentation
  • Participating in Tender evaluations
  • Vendor negotiation and project implementation
  • Financial analysis and performance measurement
