Our client plays an integral part in the Global Defence Industry and is responsible for a number of service contracts in Australia. They are currently offering an exciting and challenging opportunity within one of their Sydney site based teams.

You will be responsible for Marine Maintenance within the Defence Industry sector from investigations and scoping, through all maintenance and upgrades to testing, validation, reporting and aftercare. You will be responsible for commercially managing resources against requirements in a best practice ILS environment.

Not only will you be technically proficient in all aspects of Mechanical and Marine Engineering, you will have well developed communication skills in order to effectively develop relationships with subcontractors and clients, liaising regularly with them as well as developing and motivating staff. OHS&E, QA, and Risk Management understanding and demonstrated exposure is vital, being part of a 30 + team and will complement your 5 + years Marine Engineering experience and Tertiary qualifications.
