    As the Senior Operations Specialist you are responsible for planning, scoping and conducting reviews of end to end service delivery billing solutions for our strategic customers. You are also required to manage the critical and highly significant customer issues, commencing with root cause analysis to technical billing resolutions, thus improvement customer satisfaction and retention.
     
    You are required to act as a mentor to the team and ensure that they are educated on billing processes, frameworks and standards to drive continuous improvements.
     
    To be considered for the role you must posses the following attributes;-
    • Proven experience in the billing area is essential
    • Well developed analytical capability
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills and initiative in the areas of problem solving, issues and conflict management, negotiation, and presentation.
    • Highly effective written and oral communications and presentation skills resulting in the provision of quality documentation and a professionally presented persona.
    • Proven background dealing with complex issues, while thinking broadly and laterally as well as possess attention to detail
    • Highly developed skills in computer literacy, ideally in the area of Telstra's Standard Operating Environment (SOE) products
    • Strong understanding of the end to end "book to bill" or "order to cash" process in a services industry
    • Knowledge of Telstra's billing, rating and discounting processes, systems and products will be highly regarded
    • Proven  experience in an IT or Telco environment
    • Proven experience in either a pre-sales support, relationship management or service management role
    • Proven experience in delivering ????? ????? outputs including proposals, quotes, presentations and/or training
