Project Manager - Major Projects/Capital Works
On going contract position within a large education facility
In house property and facilities team projects $1M+
Generous hourly rate $55-70 per hour PAYG or Pty Ltd.
My client is one of Australia's leading educational institutions, which caters for 32,000 students over six campuses. Due to a continued program of upgrades and additions to its property portfolio, my client is urgently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its capital works major projects team.
You will be working within a broad-spectrum team of construction, property and facilities professionals, which incorporates in house designers and consulting engineering ????? ?????. This is a diverse and challenging opportunity, as you will be expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, taking projects from their inception to completion.
You will be expected to manage 3-5 projects simultaneously with overall responsibility for design, program and financial management, whilst reporting back to management and other stakeholders in a timely manner. This is a hands on role where you will have direct influence on all aspects of your projects, so good all round technical knowledge will be highly regarded.
You will be from either a tertiary educated or construction trade background, but most importantly have a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience delivering ????? ????? $1M within an institutional or government department setting, preferably the Dept. Commerce or Education. You must be an excellent organiser, have superb communication skills and have the people skills to cope with the demands of this dynamic role.
A generous hourly rate of between $55-70 per hour will be negotiated for this role, which can be paid PAYG or Pty Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Project Manager to join a dynamic facilities team in an ongoing contract role.
