One of the largest, most diversified property groups and most successful developers in Australia is focusing on the upgrade of its existing assets and making plans for new green field developments in the near future.
Within its internal project management group there is a cost planning area which shares responsibility between Queensland, NSW and Victoria. The projects are retail, commercial and mixed-use, including an intermodal refurb project.
There is an immediate requirement to expand the team in Sydney with an experienced Cost Planner across retail and commercial projects. The first project, based in Sydney is a $140m asset upgrade. There is another $100m upgrade project to be completed in QLD - this will require travel.
Key responsibilities include: • Preparation of high level Functional Area and Elemental cost plans to enable Development Manager to execute project feasibility and manage the design process during ????? ????? within budget. • Assisting in progressive review of design development and actively participate in solutions to maximise value and minimise unnecessary cost and time during ????? ????? project and design briefs. • Preparing ????? ????? plans, cash flows, area schedules etc. and assisting in defining scopes of works as required.
