This top-tier builder are a leading privately owned construction company with a reputation for delivering ????? ?????-quality projects, both commercial and residential.
Their team is well established and they have a philosophy of promoting within, developing and retaining their talent. Now due to growth they need to strengthen their estimating team with an experienced estimator to prepare tender packages for a commercial project.
The Role
Working alongside the Estimating Manager and Project Management team the role will involve the production of accurately scoped, quantified and priced tenders. You will also be cost planning and value engineering ????? ????? scopes for trades.
You will need the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary Qualification or Trade background in carpentry
- 5 years estimating experience in the local commercial market
- The ability to specify and scope from architectural drawings
- Experience on commercial projects up to $50m in value
- Proven ability with value-engineering
- Experience gained with a top-tier competitor
- Details of your project wins
