Location: Sydney CBD
Pay rate: $25 -$30.00 per hour
Job Profile
Highly experienced Case Worker for an immediate start to cover a short-term contract within Refugee & Asylum Seekers Services, based in Sydney CBD.
This demanding role will require an experienced Case Worker who has previous experience managing complex cases, supporting clients who may require support relating to grief, loss, torture, trauma or post-traumatic stress.
You will need to have an understanding of the issues surrounding refugees and asylum seekers as you will be responsible for identifying the needs of the clients and linking them with the appropriate support services
Requirements:
- Proven case management experience
- Tertiary qualification in social work, community development, social science and/or demonstrated experience in the provision of casework services in the refugee/asylum seeker or welfare sector
- Current drivers licence
