Pintupi Homelands Health Service is an expanding and well equipped AGPAL accredited primary healthcare facility located in Kintore. Servicing a close knit community of 450, the health service provides clinical services with a dedicated staff of nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, a doctor and support staff.

About the Opportunity
Pintupi Homelands Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a
Male Health Promotions Officer to join their dedicated team in Kintore.
The position will commence on 1 February 2010, allowing you to spend the festive season at home before commencing this new opportunity. The role will be full time after the completion of a probationary period.
Reporting to the
Health Promotion Coordinator
, this role is responsible for
facilitating programs that assist male members of the Kintore community to improve health and hygiene through healthy lifestyle choices, and to discourage substance misuse. Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be male.
For an experienced health worker dedicated to providing health education and empowering ????? ????? take ownership of their own health and wellbeing, this is a refreshing hands-on role, supported by collaboration with the health promotion team, health service staff and the wider community.
