My client, an international player within the FMCG sector is seeking a commercially astute analyst to bring synergy and leadership to their reporting and analytics team.

This position reports directly to the Finance Director and oversees the consolidation of group reporting and centralising its core function to fit within finance. The initial phase of the role is to streamline current reporting methods to bring efficiencies and transparencies to the business. The main focus will be on margin, profitability and sales reporting, to bring meaningful and strategic analysis. Once best practises are in place, this role will focus on key demographic and customer profiling to maximise revenue and increasing market share.

The successful candidate will have a strong sense of commercial acumen and be seeking to further develop their analytical skills. Exceptional reporting and systems experience including the ability to create and manipulate cubes are a critical component of this role. Superior communications coupled with strong leadership skills are essential, as this position is the driver of change and a new era in analytical forecasting and strategy for this business.

A successful applicant will have demonstrated a strong desire to excel in this environment and looking to further develop their leadership capacity. Candidates from an FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Retail background will be highly regarded.
