The Company
My client is an S&P/ASX200 listed investment manager, specialising in agribusiness. The group currently manages funds well in excess of $1.9 billion on behalf of nearly 40,000 investors throughout Australia and since listing in 1999 has grown to over 14,000 shareholders.
Responsibilities
You will work within my clients Asset Management Team being responsible for all aspects of accounting for a number of medium sized entities. You will be required to provide monthly reporting and analysis of financial results, update financial forecasts, prepare annual budgets, undertake cash flow management, bank covenant reporting, assist with unit pricing, taxation and other reports and analysis as required
Criteria
Reporting to the Business Controller, you will be required to show excellent attention to detail and must have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks as well as working to tight deadlines. You must have a high level of working knowledge with MS Excel and Outlook. A working knowledge of MS Great Plains and Navision would be advantageous. You must have at least 3 years accounting experience and ideally be CPA, CA or equivalent qualified. You will be working as part of a team, so you must have the ability to be professional and courteous at all times, whilst building alliances with your co-workers. These are critical requirements to be successful in this role.
