Our client, a leading global logistics business is currently looking to recruit a strong all-round accountant to join their expanding team. Applicants should be CA or CPA part or fully qualified and will have gained strong exposure to Financial and Management accounting and tax in a commercial business.

Duties will include:

• Continuous evaluation of controls within finance and accounting
• Ensure financial statements prepared are accurate, quality and timeliness of data maintained.
• Monitor cost centre reports and be first point of contact for cost centre reporting queries from relevant stake holders.
• Ability to analyse cost centre reports and add value by comparing actual, budget
• Assist in coordinating balance sheet reconciliations for all entities
• Liaise with internal and external auditors as required
• Engage in annual special forms reporting and statutory reporting requirements
• Assist chief accountant in preparation for tax audits, transfer pricing and other tax reporting as needed.
• Mainly responsible to coordinate and facilitate the budget process
