Working for a small but international IT business we are seeking a hands on Accountant with a sound knowledge of accounting and Australian tax to help with December Year End preparations.

Starting in mid to late November you will report directly to the Financial Controller, and will be part of a small and friendly team. Candidates are required to have a good knowledge of MYOB, experience of statutory reporting under AIFRS, and a hands on, practical approach gained in other small to medium sized businesses.

You will primarily be involved in preparing for the annual audit, balance sheet reconciliations, GL, fixed assets including depreciations and write offs, intercompany accounts, FBT and payroll tax.  Some international accounting will be required, and similar experience will be beneficial.
