This company is held in exceptionally high regard by its contemporaries within the advertising industry. They have won a number of awards for their innovative campaigns and have retained their clients whilst securing a number of key wins throughout 2009. Due to an internal restructure they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to work closely with a Finance Director and Managing Director.
 
Reporting to the Finance Director your remit as Financial Controller is to oversee the production of the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual accounts.  You will drive the annual budgeting cycle, securing the buy-in of a number of key internal stakeholders and you will be responsible for the cash-flow forecasting along with the subsequent variance analysis. Ad-hoc client engagement along with critiquing and improving existing systems and processes will be a big part of your mandate also.
 
You will be CA or CPA qualified and you will have worked within an Agency environment prior. Flawless communication skills along with an ability to present and influence is key, as are a stable resume showing good career management to date.
