Our client the retail banking arm of a leading financial institution is currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager into their mortgage business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive role within a team that is a leader in its industry. Applicants should be CA or CPA qualified and will have experience of working within a Retail Bank, ideally within its mortgages team.

You will be responsible for all financial reporting requirements for the core mortgages business and will be tasked with working closely with the business to ensure that accurate financial reporting is delivered.
Key duties will include monthly management reporting including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet and the analysis and validation of financial results. You will be responsible for General Ledger integrity, working with the business leadership team and financial control to understand variances and the development of the ledger in order to deliver insightful views on financial results across the various product lines.
You will need to ensure adherence to accounting policy and will be required to partner with the business so that you can prepare and submit the annual budget and regular re-forecasts
