Our client, a leading bank is currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their internal IT function initially on a temporary basis for 6 months. Applicants should preferably be either CA or CPA qualified and will ideally need to have strong experience of working with IT finance.

Your core duties will include:

• Forecast / budget preparation
• Variance analysis and commentary preparation
• Cost centre oversight
• Monthly management reporting
• Ensuring ????? ????? corporate accounting policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ad hoc financial analysis and reports
• Management of two staff
• Interpretation and application of results within the Business Unit's context
• Strong analytic skills which include time series and statistical analysis of large data sets
• Identification and prioritisation of cost saving opportunities
• Education of all stakeholders in financial matters, as and when required

Knowledge and skills:

• Sound customer engagement, consulting and stakeholder management skill
• Focus on delivering ????? ????? and ensuring ????? ????? information
• Knowledge of, and experience in large ERP & reporting systems is highly desirable.
• Technical management accounting and month / year end close experience
• Experience in Forecast and Budget process
• An understanding of information technology.
• Strong analytic skills which include time series and statistical analysis of large data sets
• Ability to create clear and focused reports and deliver these to senior management in a confident and clear manner
• Experience in marketing ideas and obtaining sufficient engagement from stakeholders that ideas gain momentum within an organisation.
