Our client is a Leading International Technology Organisation that has thrived in spite of recent Global Economic conditions and is now preparing for the next stage of International Growth.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Finance team, the analyst will be required to perform regular reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, quota and budget building, and quarterly accruals and budget reconciliation and analysis. In addition, this high-profile finance role will provide financial and strategic support to the MD and management teams. Other key responsibilities include translating business planning efforts into financial plans, providing decision support to help mitigate financial or operational risks or to capitalise on opportunities, and driving the ongoing communication and interpretation of results. The individual will also be responsible for continuously assessing and identifying process improvements and documenting existing and new procedures.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated work experience in financial analysis, reporting and/or strategic financial planning;
- Executive presence and comfortable presenting to large groups including 'C' Level Leadership;
- A degree in finance or accounting and recognised professional association(i.e. CPA or CFA);
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and initiative in making value-added recommendations
SKILLS
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document procedures;
- Ability to work with and support a remote team located in various parts of the world;
- Advanced skills in Excel (macros, lookups, pivot tables, arrays, etc.) and Visio for process documentation.
- A working knowledge of SAP, Cognos and Business Warehouse or other comparable systems nice to have
- Conceptual thinker with demonstrated ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent business process and organisation skills;
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in unstructured, ever changing, complex environments
- Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks/priorities;
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership to meet deliverables on time as committed
PACKAGE
A salary package of approximately $135K + other Benefits will be provided to the successful applicant.
