Financial Analyst - CBD

6 Month Contract with view to Permanent

$33 - $35 + Super

This employer of choice based in the CBD currently has a requirement for a Business Finance Analyst for immediate start. Initially for a 6month contract but with a view to permanent, as Financial Analayst this role will see you work with a talented group of people where you will report to the Business Finance Manager.

This role would be ideally suited to a Junior Business Financial Analyst / Management Accountant that is hungry to develop and has a strong interest in getting behind the numbers. Social and outgoing, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a diverse, professional and high performing team.

In order to be considered, it is essential that you have excellent experience in Tm1 base modelling and be available to commence work prior to 02nd November.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial analysis to senior management on a wide range of business issues, including revenue modelling, expense budgeting, forecasting, activity costing and project accounting.
Management and co-ordination of TM1 environment.
Partnering ????? ????? divisions and communicating necessary accounting information to manage their business capabilities.
Management of month end accruals.
Produce accurate income and expenditure forecasts.
Complete monthly commentary / variance analysis.
Costs and resources allocated effectively through budgets and accurate budgeting through effective engagement with business partners.
Explore and support system improvement initiative
Build & enhance personal competencies in financial analysis (Tm1 based) and performance reporting.
Provide key TM1/Excel based analysis and models training for other members of finance including other members of the Business Finance Team.
Improve management reporting, covering ????? ?????, Activity and other BAU performance themes.

In order to be considered for this role, Tm1 experience is essential. This role is open to those on a working holiday visa also.
