    The Group Executive team within QBE has a need to hire an extremely focused and experienced Administrator to hold a specialised and varied role within the Shareholder Services team.  You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to QBE’s shareholders, particularly employee shareholders.

    You will be responsible for accurately recording employee shares and options transactions under various employee share plans.  In particular you will be responsible for finalising employee share plan holdings, including repayment of outstanding loan balances for outgoing employees.  You will place share sale orders with a stockbroker and arrange settlement of net funds.  You will be responsible for month-end reconciliations of loan balances and registered Trustee shareholdings. 

    In addition you will maintain shareholder intranet/internet pages, prepare and lodge documents within required periods to financial market regulators and assist with shareholder services including Annual General Meetings, dividends and capital raisings as required..

    To be a success in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

    • Familiarity with ledgers and journals
    • Good numerical ability
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent PC and Excel skills
    • Time management skills

    If you are a team player, who is well organised and able to operate effectively with peak work periods, then you should apply.  This role would suit a qualified or near qualified CA/CPA Professional with an interest in financial markets and/or employee share plans.  Any Share Registry experience would be highly advantageous.
