Currently entering ????? ????? growth phase, our client is looking to implement an ambitious and dynamic Procurement specialist to actively support the set up and development of Strategic Procurement within Australia. This Iconic global organisation is well established and has a management team that truly supports the growth of Procurement within the business.
 
You will be expected to effectively deliver procurement services whilst managing the compliance aspects relating to contract. This will include identifying and implementing procurement policies and procedures, responding to the procurement needs of the business, managing the businesses preferred suppliers, contract management, and negotiating at all levels.

Experience, knowledge and skills:-

• Extensive experience as a Procurement specialist managing in-direct spend
• Proven ability in Process Improvement and implementing procurement policies and procedures
• Strong sourcing experience (local and international ideally)
• Understanding of commercial contract law with the ability to negotiate terms with suppliers
• Excellent Stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to push back on senior management.
• Highly experienced in supplier relationship management to include managing performance and dispute management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Tertiary qualified
