Council Run Centre

The centre is a 40 place, council run centre in an accessible area of inner South West Sydney. The salary is competitive with benefits including a 37.5 hour week (8 hour shifts with half an hour lunch break), one rostered day off a month, lots of quality professional development , with great resources and support.

You must be an experienced Director or a very strong second in charge. You must have a Bachelors in  Early Childhood studies. You must also have experience and a solid understanding of the emergent curriculum. The right candidate will also be a strong leader with vision and ideas. You must also be strong in dealing with staff, parents and the community. You should also have a passion for education and the children's welfare.

This centre is well run and respected in the community with stable staff. The Council has an excellent reputation for running childcare centres. You would be taking on a place with a good reputation with the opportunity to continue this as well as stamp your own ideas on the centre.
