Part time Asset Manager - Residential

 

  • Part time position (21 hours per week)

  • Female only applications

  • 6-9 month maternity leave contract
  • Part time Asset Manager required for a growing social housing provider in Sydney central. Excellent 6-9 month maternity leave position for an applicant with previous property management experience.


    Duties:

    • Manage all common area contracts including gardening and cleaning

    • Annually update all contractors insurance, licence and registration details

    • Maintain system for annual property inspections in conjunction with housing staff

    • Organise checking systems for work undertaken by tradespeople

    • Maintain systems for Annual Fire Safety inspections, termite and other annual reports when indicated

    • Follow through with management of works required after above inspections

    • Maintain system for checking all incoming invoices and categorising work according to Asset management definitions prior to invoices being processed for payment

    • Manage all inspections on behalf of the Division Community Housing and Housing NSW including fire safety upgrades and Property Assessment Surveys when requested.

    • Liaise and inform tenants of required inspections

    • Work in conjunction with other Asset Manager

    • Complete monthly checking on tenant satisfaction with repairs completed reports

    Essential requirements:

    • Relevant qualification in building/technical trade/ or tertiary studies in related area or 5 years experience in housing/property management

    • Competency in maintenance planning

    • Understanding of social housing system

    • Knowledge of property management issues

    • Understanding of budget limitations

    • Well developed organisational skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Current NSW Drivers Licence
