We are a leading fashion  company  importing and wholesaling womens apparel and require an experienced person to take on an important role. Activities include:

• Preparing  initial specs for sampling and costings
   
• Checking initial QA samples to spec and do fittings

• Attending fittings with Buyers

• Advising China manufacturers of any fit alterations, requesting preproduction and production samples

• Checking preproduction and shipment samples 

• Preparing reports for approvals including results of lab dips, wash reference samples, trims, bulk fabrics, etc

The ideal candidate must have appreciable years of relevant experience  with both woven and knit garments and a patternmaking background for ease of advising  China manufacturers on garment construction methods and fit  with strong garment construction knowledge. They must  be computer literate (Excel; also Illustrator would be useful) and be able to work well in a busy team environment.
