Emmilou is at the forefront of the Modern Tapas bar scene currently sweeping Sydney, offering the kind of relaxed and friendly bar/ restaurant experience easily found in cities such as Paris, New York and of course Melbourne, but sadly, rarely seen in Sydney.
With the unique combination of a buzzing restaurant/ bar, modern takes on innovative Spanish tapas as well as a 31 page 'wine and cocktail book' and a focus on fresh seasonal ingredients inspired by celebrity Chef/ Owner Chris Cranswick-Smith’s extensive time living and working in Michelin Starred Restaurants in both Spain and (the basque country of) France, Emmilou is fast becoming a popular destination for those who appreciate modern and innovative Spanish tapas at its best.
Providing an excellent opportunity for the right individual to run the kitchen and be an integral face and part of every facet of the business including input into the menu. We are seeking a certain type if individual who is ready to join a fantastic team.
CDP/ Junior Sous Chef:
We are seeking a naturally outgoing, friendly, passionate individual, who works well as part of a small team with prior sous chef/ management experience OR a qualified chef ready to take the next step in their career.
This is an opportunity to work unsupervised leading a great team, however with strict guidance from the Chef and relevant management staff to evolve the business in the desired direction.
A great love, passion and knowledge of food and professional management practices including costings, casual staff management an cleaning is essential. We are looking for a hospitality professional to join our team.
Would suit someone ready to take the next step in their career, who loves what they do and wants to be part of a great team. Further opportunities to grow with the group for the right person. No rockstars....
