NSW Campaign Manager - The Wilderness Society Sydney Inc.

The Wilderness Society (TWS) is seeking to recruit a new Campaign Manager to lead and coordinate the activities of The Wilderness Society in . The position is accountable to the TWS Sydney Management Committee.

Salary          $75,000 plus superannuation

Hours           Full time / 37.5 hours per week

Primary tasks and responsibilities

The NSW Campaign Manager leads the Sydney Campaign Centre and ensures the delivery of the Wilderness Society’s strategic goals in NSW. The Campaign Manager is line manager for the TWS Sydney Campaign Coordinator, Business Manager and WildEndurance Coordinator.

The position has four key areas of responsibilities which are:

(1) Leading Strategic Planning processes and ensuring implementation

(2) Overseeing all campaign activities

(3) Managing and developing the Campaign Centre team, and

(4) Actively engaging in TWS Australia national processes

Essential Selection Criteria:

·            Commitment to The Wilderness Society’s purpose and values

·            At least five years’ campaign experience

·            Excellent leadership, management and interpersonal skills

·            Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·            Knowledge of NSW and national conservation issues, and an understanding of political processes as they relate to the environment
