An opportunity now exists for a driven and professional individual to become a Sales Team Manager in the Sunshine Coast.
The sales and account management teams service customers from small to medium enterprise, to big business across Southern Queensland. Sales are from basic business communications to complex whole of business solutions. Your role will be to lead team of Account Executives, Business Solutions Managers, Business Sales and Acquisition Representatives to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
As the Sales Team Manager you will;
- Take revenue accountability for your designated regional area through the application of proven sales techniques, reporting and performance management of direct selling staff.
- Be accountable for maximising retention, acquisition, sales and revenue growth and the achievement of customer satisfaction targets.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to develop and optimise both individual and team capability, identifying roadblocks that impact performance, and resolving issues as appropriate.
- Recruit and select individuals for your team, at times in conjunction with the Area General Manager.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or IT, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have experience in account management and the ability to demonstrate strong business acumen as well as the desire to win and drive business performance.
Applicants will also have experience leading a team and the ability to coach, mentor and continuously develop direct selling staff. Formal coaching and sales training & account management experience is essential. Sound knowledge in telecommunications is advantageous but not essential.
