This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business on the Sunshine Coast. With a network of outlets, including recent acquisitions, this company has strategically placed itself for growth. They currently have a vacancy for a dynamic Buyer / Merchandiser to join their Head Office operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working closely with the Management Team, your primary objective will be to manage and maintain the price and product changes across their stores. You will also provide the management team with product analysis; product and maintain seasonal promotional calendars; negotiate rebate discounts with suppliers; maintain retail prices and shelf tickets for each product category; and oversee unit pricing implementation and ongoing maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will possess experience in dealing with multiple grocery stores and suppliers; have an ability to manage an inventory system accurately and efficiently; as well as being able to create invaluable relationships. Critical to your success are high-levels of motivation and enthusiasm, strong commercial acumen, flawless attention to detail, problem solving capabilities, and a personable approach. A working knowledge of Grocery Manager or BAS-x would be ideal, however not essential as training will be provided.
