Our client is a leading Australia owned organisation based in the Sunshine Coast region. It has grown steadily over time and now has a client basis across several continents. Established in the 50's, this company employs more than 650 people.
With plans that will further establish their business in their niche market, and as a result of this sustained growth they are seeking to recruit a Warehouse / Logistics Manager
The role will be responsible to coordinate, lead, and control all the day to day operational functions directly associated with a large cold storage warehouse.
The successful applicant will have strong communication skills coupled with strong People Management skills, a great work ethic and be able to demonstrate understanding of the principals of warehousing and distribution. Experience with Containers, Export and AQIS requirements, you will be required to manage a team of 30 over a 24 hour operation.
Previous experience in a high volume, hands on Warehousing, Logistics or Distribution role. A minimum or 3 years Cold Storage experience and a minimum of 2 years experience in a Management role
