Due to the recent exponential growth of our client we require Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors for confirmed upcoming projects. Quantity Surveyors with a background in Defense, Educational or Healthcare projects are highly desirable. Strong Quantity Surveyors from an infrastructure are also encouraged to apply.

Duties will include but not being limited to;
Preparation of Bills of Quantities (ASMM) and Simplified Bills of Quantities

Cost Planning

Estimates of Building Construction Cost based on concept, sketch, design development and “for construction” documentation

Building Construction Phase, Contract Administration including Progress Payments, Variations, Budget, Reports and Financier “Cost to Complete” reports

Facilities Management Services, includin0g Due Diligence, Tax Depreciation, Sinking Funds, Asset, Registers and Insurance Replacement Cost Assessments

Monitor and keep abreast of emerging industry trends, practices and issues to ensure standards are aligned with or exceed recognised best practices

Benefits / Allowances: Our client believes in motivating and developing its staff with rewarding above average salary packages. For this particular role the salary on offer will be above average at a guideline of $100,000 - $150,000 dependent on your level of experience. In addition to the salary our client offers a car allowance, laptop, blackberry and a good bonus structure.
Requirements: Cost planning experience working in a professional Quantity Surveying Environment on top end projects is desirable for this role. The successful applicant will be extremely motivated and be someone who wants to work with the best and make a difference. You will have good communication skills in English and be eligible to work in Australia. Our client needs enthusiastic, organized, confident and inspired individuals who enjoy developing, communicating and sharing ideas. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively unsupervised. Any candidates who have previous experience working for a top tier PQS consultancy will have a considerable advantage for this role. Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying are essential.
