Design & Build are currently sourcing an energetic, driven and dynamic Municipal Building Surveyor to work for one of the most scenic and naturally beautiful regional councils in Victoria. Located in Western Victoria, this opportunity will provide the perfect chance to escape city life and enjoy the natural beauty and attractions that this region has to offer.
As Municipal Building Surveyor will be tasked with managing, administering ????? ????? the Building Act, Building Regulations and other relevant legislation as well being at the forefront of developing strategies and policies that will contribute towards building a safer and sustainable community.
Duties will include:
- Mentoring, developing and guiding junior members of staff
- Managing and delivering ????? ????? of building services, including; building / occupancy permits and building notices
- Mandatory building inspections
- Managing enforcement action
- Providing after hours emergency building assistance
- Liaising with a range of stakeholders on a daily basis

Requirements:
- Registration as a Building Practitioner Building Surveyor
