Maintenance Coordinator - St Marys

ARC - The Australian Reinforcing Company formerly known as Smorgon Steel Reinforcing is a leading manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcing products to the building and construction industries.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for timely and efficient actioning of maintenance tasks on multiple operating processes in order to reduce downtime of equipment. You will also play a key role in identifying and implementing long term improvement and preventative maintenance strategies.
Your daily duties will include:
- Repairing ????? ????? the plant and equipment
- Working alongside and assisting in the coordination of external contractors
- Monitoring ????? ????? (parts and spares etc)
- Implementing OneSteel safety initiatives by upholding safety procedures at all times and identifying potential hazards and/or improvements.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- A demonstrated committment to Safety
- Trade background (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Well developed communication and people skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads, as well as work to tight deadlines
- A team player.
Whilst not essential, OHS training qualifications and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be highly regarded, as would relevent industry and/or product knowledge.
