Good Shepherd Youth and Family Service provide a range of services to women, young people, families and children across four regional locations in Victoria. Programs include youth support services, housing, microfinance, financial counselling, family violence, wide- ranging family and children’s services, social policy and research.
Good Shepherd – West provides a range of programs including: family programs, youth services, financial counselling and micro finance programs.
The catchment for the School Focused Youth Service (SFYS) is Melton/Brimbank and is coordinated by a consortium of Good Shepherd, Djerriwarrh Employment & Education Services, and Melton Shire Council known as the Management Committee
As the School Focused Youth Service Coordinator you will work collaboratively with schools and community agencies on the co-ordination of preventative and early intervention strategies for at risk young people aged 10 – 18 years old.
You will also facilitate networks, organize forums, administer brokerage funds, and disseminate regular information to schools and community agencies.
You will be based at Good Shepherd - West, St Albans and also provide outreach to Melton.
To be the successful applicant you will;

- have youth work, community dervelopment or education qualifications
- have experience working with young people, schools and community
- possess project planning, budgeting, admin and evaluation skills
- be a great time manager and communicator
