Recent acquisitions see this organisation continually growing and proving themselves as a strong leader in their field hence the recruitment of a new Fleet Controller. Working as part of the fleet control and warehouse team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of documentation and timely and effective communication.
 
Ensure that dispatch functions are performed in a safe, efficient and accurate manner through compliance with customer, company and legislated requirements.

Reporting to the DC manager with daily contact with warehouse employees, truck drivers and customer service, your daily responsibilities will be to handle the delivery dockets and picking slips to ensure goods are picked and despatched on time and in full, receipting of truck driver to facilitate the process of inwards and outwards goods, liaising with warehouse employees and customer service in relation to goods movements in and out of the DC, use SAP to process and record the movement of goods and generating reports, use MS office to enter data for reporting and KPI purposes and assist in delivery scheduling as required.

Skills essential to the position will be the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively, previous experience working with the building products industry, previous experience with SAP an advantage but not essential, experience using MS office for data entry, good attention to detail and accuracy, strong numeric and the ability to problem solve, a self starter and reliable.
