OneSteel Metaland is a one-stop steel-shop stocking a wide range of steel products catering ????? ????? DIY, farmers and trades customers servicing the home improvement, building, fabrication and agricultural markets. It’s no secret that we are going from strength to strength and as a result, have opportunities for established leaders to manage various locations across Australia.
These are unique opportunities suited to robust individuals who are able to manage profit and loss balance sheets and small teams of salespeople and warehouse staff.
Reporting to a State Manager you will be part of a regional Leadership team and be responsible for all aspects of the Metaland business providing leadership and management direction for the efficient operation, profitability and growth of the location.
Typical key challenges of the roles include:
- Ensuring ????? ????? efficient warehousing practices
- Stretching sales and customer service levels via personal representation and initiative
- Continual team and individual growth through the OneSteel Leadership Competencies and Performance Management models
- Establishing Action Plans and the achievement of budget/financial targets
- Maintaining the ‘OneSteel’ image, protecting its assets, and contributing to the development and achievement of Divisional objectives.
Where are the roles located?
We plan on building a pool of candidates available to work anywhere in Australia and are looking to hear from people who are interested in new opportunities not just right now but over the next 12-24 months.
Currently, locations available include:
North Coast NSW – Taree
Southern WA – Esperance
Coastal WA – Port Hedland
Regional Central QLD - Emerald
Regional Southern QLD - Warwick
Gold Coast, QLD - Currumbin

What experience do we need from you?

Experience managing a small business
Superior Account Management skills and hold customer care as a core value
A commitment to Safety in all that you do
Experience as a mentor, building capability and engaging others for a challenge(including your peers and managers!)
A passion for outcomes
Experience working within the steel industry would be highly advantageous.
